How do We Make Pain-Free Prosthetics?
By Georgia Prosthetics

A prosthetic should be used to help you live a more comfortable life, not a more painful one. Unfortunately, too many patients experience pain when using their prosthetics.
At Georgia Prosthetics, we understand how frustrating this experience can be. We provide patients with prosthetics without pain that help them lead full, active lives.
Creating Pain-Free Prosthetics
Many patients experience discomfort when they get a prosthetic. In fact, they may find that using the prosthetic is not worth the pain they’ll have to endure, and they may give up completely. Of course, patients who find their prosthetics to be painful are far less likely to use them.
Is there such a thing as a pain-free prosthetic?
At Georgia Prosthetics, we believe there is. We want each of our patients to enjoy all the benefits of their prosthetics, which is why we focus on patient comfort.
Here are some of the ways we make prosthetics without pain:
We provide patients with prosthetics that are created using the most advanced technology. Modern prosthetics are lighter, more comfortable, and easier to use than ever before.
Part of creating a pain-free prosthetic is making sure the patient receives the right prosthetic for his or her needs. We take the time to get to know our patients and their individual needs and goals so we can best match the right product to the right patient.
We teach patients how to use their prosthetics as efficiently and comfortably as possible. This may include the use of various socks, liners, and other accessories to ensure a great fit.
We provide as many adjustments as it takes to make sure the patient is able to use his or her prosthesis comfortably. We are always available to help patients who need an adjustment.
At Georgia Prosthetics, we do whatever it takes to make sure our patients enjoy pain-free prosthetic devices. When a patient is comfortable, he or she can make great strides toward learning to use the prosthetic to improve his or her life.
